I was reading the other posts for this issue. My issue is a little different in that I am not running any additional Norton Products. I am using Microsoft Security Essentials for anti-virus and intrusion protection.
IE9 and Google Chrome both freeze with the Family Monitor enabled. When disabled they work normally.
