Hello,
I hope someone can help me. I stopped using two cell phones I have that someone had put surveillance on and instead went back to a dial up connection on my desktop thinking this would be more secure than WiFI. Then I put Norton security on my computer. Long story short, same people who put my cell phones under surveillance (these are private cell phones, and also these people are not law enforcement; they are just people who can't stand me and they got a hold of my cell phone at work) have now found a way to view my browsing history. This includes people at work and a person who lives downstairs who has been in my apartment because he knows the maintenance man here (and he knows the people I work with). If he has been in my apartment, can he get on my computer? I've protected it with a password, but I've read that those can be tampered with. Can Norton track whether someone has been on my computer when I'm not home? Also, how are these people viewing my browsing history? Can I tell if someone has put a keystroke logger of some kind on my computer? Can a phone company employee through which I've got my dial up connection see my browsing history? I realize these seem like strange questions, but I really don't know where else to start. I'm going to get a VPN as well. I hope someone can help. Thx.
