Running NIS 2012 on Vista Business on a Sony Vaio laptop
Sporadically crashes when hibernating, restarts giving BSOD BCCode 44
Never happens except when hibernating
Does not always happen when hibernating - ie hibernate often ok
This will happen for a week or two, then it will not happen for a month or so, then for a week or two, then not for a month or so, repeating
I have had the dump files analyzed and it appears to be Norton causing the problem clashing with a third party driver. Have tried updating all drivers. Still happens. It appears to start happening, and stop happening in time with NIS updates. I have been advised to stop using Norton.
Don't really want to ditch Norton - anyone got any other ideas?
