Hi
Few days ago I post a message about problem with "Subscription Status" :
http://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-Internet-Security-Norton/Wrong-Subscription-Status/m-p/688043#M199573
and one of online supporter solve my problem (Thanks to her/him).
Now I find my root of problem and now I am looking for solution.
Problem :
Recently ( about two months I think ), every time when I power on my PC, I have two quick bluscreen error ( second one after cold restarting) after that ( in 3th start) NIS prompt me for renew. ( mentioned problem ,Subscription Status, ).
Now I use WhoCrashed app and it say :
2 crash dumps have been found and analyzed. A third party driver has been identified to be causing system crashes on your computer. It is strongly suggested that you check for updates for these drivers on their company websites. Click on the links below to search with Google for updates for these drivers:
srtsp64.sys (Symantec AutoProtect, Symantec Corporation)
Help me plz.
saw you 2nd post within 14 mins of the first. We dont always operate at lightning speed.
In the 1st problem you posted in the forum you never said how chat resolved your problem. That might be useful
Others have reported this issue a while ago. The advice then as now, should first be to uninstall all norton products having made backups of your Identity safe etc. Then use Norton removal Tool, reboot, run Norton Removal Tool again, reboot. Reinstall and update. Then report if problem continues and then report version number. If you can get windows dump this could be useful.
Thanks for your solution. I will test that.
