This is a long standing problem. I have faced this issue even from NIS 2009.
Norton Identity Safe as a part of NIS 2011 fails to properly detect JavaScript logins or does not detect at all.
This way, one has to face some inconvenience in having to remember passwords. Someone on CNET told me to report the websites on which it does not work to Symantec. This is the reason for posting this new thread.
A few examples are:
CNET's Download.com/www.cnet.com
GMX Mail [www.gmx.com]
The logins work only if we disable JavaScript, but it's just plain inconvenient. Infact, sites like GMX refuse to login unless JavaScript is re-enabled.
I would like, if Community members can confirm these issues are faced by them too & that it's been reported to Symantec.
This is just the initial post.
As and when I find more such problems involving JavaScript logins, I will post again.
My appeal to others, that if you know any website in which Norton Identity Safe has issues with logins, please let Symantec know of them.
Thanks.
