I would Run LiveUpdate to Update your N.I.S. 2008 and then Run a Full System Scan.
If that does not work - and even if it does - let us know.
hi jdtolley - how did you determine that it is malware? i've seen quite a few bug-eating screensavers that were legit. is there other behavior on the system that led to your conclusion?
thanks,
mel

I agree.
besides that. can't you just uninstall the screensaver to be sure?
Most likely you have what I usually just call Blackster. I have removed quite a few of these. It is a trojan that adds itself as a running process, background and screensaver.
Kill the process ctfmona.exe if it is running and then delete the following files. NOTE: Do not confuse it with the legit ctfmon.exe.
%windir%\System32\ctfmona.exe
%windir%\System32\ctfmonb.bmp
%windir%\System32\blackster.scr
Some more detailed info can be found on F-Secures page (first hit on a google search that had a decent desription :))
