Numbered bullets don't seem to resolve well in the editor.

  1. Numbered bullet 1
  2. Numbered bullet 2
  3. Numbered bullet 3
  • Bullet 1
  • Bullet 2
  • Bullet 3

Great suggestion; I’ve contacted the team to review this feature. Thanks!

Stu,

I see the bullets when I reply to you but not in the regular forum view.  Looks like some stylesheets need to be updated.

Dave

That's strange.

I really do see them

  1. Numbered bullet 1
  2. Numbered bullet 2
  3. Numbered bullet 3
  • Bullet 1
  • Bullet 2
  • Bullet 3

I just pasted your text into my reply editor and I see them in Graphical view -- I bet when I reply I'll get that message that my HTML is screwed up and I should fix it ..... <g>

  1. vvvvvvvvvvvvvv
  2. wwwwwwwwwwww
  3. xxxxxxxxxxx
  4. yyyyyyyyyyy

Oh well -- partly wrong but the system fixed the mistake on it's own and took out the numeric bullets .....

What browser are you using?

OK I've been told before by Lithium that there may be a few things that aren't supported by IE6.  IE7 has been out for two years so IE6 is not the primary browser anymore.  I checked the forums in FF3 and the bullets appear but with slightly funky formatting.  Looks like this is simply a browser issue.

Thanks Stu.

Dave

Just to irritate the fanatics (present company excepted of course .....)  who apparently detest IE <g>

I haven't yet worked out how to get FF3 to handle bookmarked websites in anything like the way that IE does, although hopefully with a way of "massaging" them as I can, say, data files in Explorer even or PowerDesk better.

Haha

If you are happy with IE why not use it?

The fundemental reason is that I like to use what comes with the OS when doing support but also that I've not had any major problems until I had to upload a large file to a beta site that shall be nameless and it crashed IE together with my report ... but FF3 didn't for others so I installed it on my test bed and didn't have any reason to upload any files .... yet.
  1. what bullets
  2. do you
  3. mean?
