I am going to purchase NIS2011 from my local Wal-Mart store here in the southwestern United States
When I go to the store, I see two types of NIS 2011 for sale. both are for PC (not net book)
But one has a blue sticker that says something about for use with a new PC, the other has a red security tag that says “must be activated for product to work”
Has anyone seen this before? The norton boxes show all the same details. I asked the clerk but don’t trust their knowledge.

He said the blue sticker one means that if you buy the norton when you purchase a new PC you get a discount on the norton…
This sound right? I dont want to get a lesser version of 2011. I know I’ll need to update it anyway to get the current NIS2011 version. I just don’t want it to be missing something that needs to be there for updating

and the version that says needs to be activted at time of purchase, what does that mean? I dont want thier activation to screw it up

are they both the same and ok?
I have seen both of these at several walmarts around the city
