Hi Matthew Wells,

Definately you can gift the Norton program to someone in Europe and there will not be any issues as Norton program works in Europe.

So no need to worry about anything..:smileyhappy:

Thanks

Whoa!!  I also understood that the language that was used in Norton had to be the same language as used in the operating system it was running on.  In other words, if it is a German OS, then you have to use the German version of Norton.  In that case a product pruchased in the UK in English would not work.

Can someone clarify?

Hi,

The Norton program will automatically take the system language and will get downloaded and installed in the respective language hence no reason to worry. Simply needs to use the activation key and everything will work smoothly..

Thanks

UHMMM, I was under the impression the language that got installed was tied to the product key, so a UK purchased product key would install in English?  I also thought that if the inital install was in English and you wanted to change to another language,(German) you had to uninstall the Englisgh version, then download the lGerman version of the Norton product and install it.     You could at that point then use the  valid english key  to activate it.
