Yes, it should be, although, if you can, would wait for Norton 2009 to be Released in your Local Store. :)
And pay more for it than in US Dollars? I don’t think he should do that. Especially not with the weak dollar.

Chances are that, if "he" does do that, then N.I.S. may not work correctly on "his" system.
The problem is the release date of NIS 2009 in Russia - 12 of october :( Local store is waiting for the localized boxed version of the 2009 products... More of that - I don't need localized version of NIS 2009 and an english version is more than fine for me. The price will be near the same as in US - currently NIS 2008 costs ~$63, but for one PC only. And I need that "up to 3 PCs" license for all my home computers. Maybe someone from Symantec can answer my question? All I need is NIS 2009 license for 3 PCs as in US Symantec store.

Your license will be valid for use, but it will be the English (US) version. If you purchase the product that states "can be installed on up to 3 PCs", then you can install it on up to 3 PCs. It will explicitly state it on the purchase page. Thanks!

Yes, it will be. I bought the English version and used the 2008 version in Dutch version. Now I am using the 2009 IS version and the license still works.
