C Drive Recovery of Vista 64 with Ghost 14

I did a full backup of my C drive and then booted my Ghost 14 installation CD and did a Recovery.  When I rebooted after the recovery, Norton Internet Security 2009 was a mess.  After a time, it complained and then launched Live Update.  Live Update downloaded 55.07MB.  Live update failed durning getting the "latest pulse update from Symantec Security" with error 3035,2.  I tried Live Update again and it said every thing was up to date.  It seems to be running okay showing "Secure".

Also, Vista indicated that the previous shutdown was abnormal, but it seemed to be okay.

Is this all 'normal' when restoring a Ghost 14 backup?

I used to boot a floppy disk to run Ghost 2003 to backup a drive and restore a drive and that worked without any problem.  Unfortunately my new system doesn't have a floppy drive and I've read that Vista64 has trouble with USB floppy drives.

I wonder if the problems are caused by Ghost backing up a running system.  It seems odd to me that the program most affected by this is Norton Internet Security.  It might be a good idea to add Backup to the bootable CD.
