I mistakenly excluded some 'tracking cookies' that I wanted Norton to 'fix'.
I cannot seem to find a way to 'un-exclude' them (i.e., reverse the exclusion and get Norton to 'fix') - can anyone advise?
Thanks

Hi
Open Settings
Check Auto Protect/virus Scanner Exlusion list
Also If Change Action for Cookies/Low Risk Items to Removal if not already so,
Check the Xclusion list Present their as well
You can Use tools like CCleaner to get rid of Cookies and also remove uneeded files/Temp files
Here`s the link to CCleaner
http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/
Tracking cookies are not very Dangerous to the O/S but are more of a Nuisance
Thanks for your help !
The options on Norton were different so I wonder if we have different versions.
However, your suggestion to download CCleaner was great - I did it and was able to clean out the unwanted tracking cookies.
Many thanks
Hi nrtnhelp12345,
Welcome to the Norton Community.
Can you please indicate which Norton product you have and the version? You can find the version from Support > About or Help & Support > About depending on the product and year that you have.
Also, what version of Windows and SP (service pack) do you have and is it 32 or 64 bit?
I'll guess that you have Norton Internet Security (NIS). If so, then go to Settings > Computer Settings > Tracking Cookies Scan. If it is set to Ignore, you can change it to Remove or Ask Me and this should take care of it for you.
If you have a different Norton product, the setting will be similar but there might be a slightly different path in Settings to get there so do please let us know.
Hope this helps.
Best wishes.
