Can I Fallback to NIS2008 Using Nprotect?

Hello, I still have loads of stuff in the Nprotect folder regarding NIS2007 and NIS2008. As I am extremely unhappy with NIS2009, at the moment unable to run update and tired of waiting for a fix, I want to return to NIS2008.

My question:

1) if I uninstall NIS2009 via the shortcut executing InstStub.exe of the 16.5.0.135 directory, then re-install Norton System Work - can I fall back to NIS2008 using NPROTOECT? Since the subscription has expired, can I renew the subscription with the Product Key from the 2009 CD box. I'd prefer this method, because I hope it will also reinstall the parental block add-on and setups?

2) My other option is to reinstall NIS2008 from the original CD after NIS2009 is uninstalled, only I don't know which product key I should use,

the one that came with 2008 CD, subscription expired 2 months ago,

or the one came with the 2009 CD and I still have over 250 days in my subscription.

With the second option I believe I can forget NSW and simply delete the NProtect folder. Right?

Thanks
