I have 2 weeks remaining on one of my Norton 360 subscriptions and 5 weeks remaining on another subscription, as I had 4 computers and needed 2 subscriptions. I have a spare licence, so can I just change the Key # to increase the time remaining from 2 weeks to 5 weeks on one of the computers, or do I have to uninstall and reinstall N360 on that computer? In the meantime, I just purchased Norton 360 Multi-Device which will take care of all my needs 5 weeks down the road. I would also like to know if I can do the same for all 4 computers when I activate the Multi-Device subscription, or do I have to uninstall and reinstall N360 on each computer?

If you have a spare activation left on the 5 week one then yes you can use that to extend the 3 weeker to expire with the other 5 weekers -- or if all your 5 weekers have been used but one of the PCs is not longer active then you can use Norton Management to liberate that activation to use again.
When you come to move to 360 MultiDevice please check back (or start getting the information now when you've dealt with the expiry situation) to find out if you can use the Multidevice key on the Windows N360 (is that Standard or Premier?) or whether you have to reinstall and if so the best procedure to save Identity Safe if you use that.
I believe my existing N360 is the standard version as it has limited online backup. The packaging shows v6, but the computer shows it as v20,4.0.40.
Hi nychucky
The Norton 360 premier key cannot be used for the Norton 360 standard and vice a versa.
Norton has changed from calling the product by year and having different version numbers for NAv, NIS and 360 to naming them with the same version number, which is v21.1.0.18 for the latest version.
Do you use identity safe/vault, if so is it local or is it on line in the cloud?
What version of windows are you using and are you likely to upgrade to windows 8.1?

I am using Windows 7 Ultimate as I need the Virtual Windows XP for an AutoCad application. I am not likely to update to Windows 8.1 anytime soon as I cannot use that application and it costs too much to replace it with a compatible product. There also seem to be a lot of complaints about Norton 360 and Windows 8.1 interaction. I do not use the Identity safe nor do I use online backup. My files are backed up weekly on 2 devices and I do a separate system backup weekly as well.
I did chat with Norton yesterday regarding the Norton 360 Multi-Device installation. Being that the Multi-Device incorporates Norton 360 Premier Edition, I will have to uninstall the Norton 360 Standard Edition and reinstall the Norton 360 Premier Edition using the Key number from the Norton 360 Multi-Device license. From what I gathered, if you have the Premier Edition installed already, you can just enter the new Key #.
Thanks for the input
Looks like you have it all together. Glad OnLine Support could help you.
I'm just an older guy trying to keep up, but I try. The online support has been a great help over the years.
