Can I renew manually and not loose backup and passwords

I want to renew Norton manually before expiration, and avoid the extra cost of auto renewal. I will enter the new product key on all my devices before the expiration date. My question is whether I will still have access to my backup and passwords already in the vault, or will their files expire and need restoring?

 Maybe, you're seeing ChatBot virtual assistant.   You need to click through a few automated help menus and get to your virtual agent asking "Do you want to wait for live agent".  ChatBot after you've clicked for example: "Something else" a few times will offer user "Do you want to wait for live agent".  You'll type or click "Yes" and you'll get transferred to a live agent.

Can I ask how to contact Norton support please?  Im going down same road but cant find any contact support except virtual chat.  Cheers

You are welcome.

And additional info. Your passwords are stored in your Norton Account online. So reinstalling your Norton product or the Norton Password Manager extensions will not affect your passwords.

One way to ensure continued access without restoring backups is to contact Norton Support after you have purchased the better priced product key. Ask them to add the time from the new key to your existing subscription. 

If you are going this route, be sure that you have turned off Automatic Renewal for your current subscription in your Norton Account.
