I think that I got a virus on my phone and want to check if I have a virus on my phone, so is it possible for me to scan my phone via laptop?
The info from HowtoGeeks still applies.
I did not have Norton 360
Did you have Norton 360 iOS installed on the iPhone when this happened? If so, the Safe Web feature should have blocked any known malicious site from loading. So it is possible that the site looked iffy, but did not actually had anything malicious.
Plus, from the HowtoGeeks link, it shows how iOS protects itself from attack by any malware. The only thing it cannot protect fully is a phishing attack if a user clicks on phishing links and enters their personal information on that site.
I’m pretty sure I visited a Malicious website, I was looking through a article and accidentally click a sketchy advertisement, and it lead me to a sketchy website, and It was so sketchy like it was the Dark web or something. That’s why I’m worrying
No you cannot scan an iPhone from a laptop.
What makes you think you have a virus on your iPhone? But you have very little to worry about with an iOS device. There is no malware protection in Norton 360 on an iOS device. See this article from howtogeek . com for an explanation of why it is not necessary.
