Subject line says it. Might be needed to create a dual-boot system for work in order NOT to buy another computer.
Put in a different way, is there any reason not to attempt this? Am I risking catastrophic consequences? I'm an A+ trained geek and a Windows/DOS power user, but my skills are a little dated. However, I can take the answer in technical terms.
I'm a medical transcriptionist. Many employer platforms are not compatible with Vista x64. However, I don't want to blow away what I have on the machine (Toshiba Satellite L305-S5937 with Intel T3400 CPU, 4 Gb RAM, 320 Gb SATA HD) that I bought for work before finding out about the possible compatibility issue.
I'm here because I found, to my surprise, that the fomerly excellent and easily accessible tech support was now apparently nonexistent unless you own a current product. Sorry to see it go.
Thanks in advance for any help that is offered.
