Can Norton always allow my daughter's diabetes app to be accessible at all times?

My daughter has type-1 diabetes and has an app (Dexcom) which monitors her sugar levels. My daughter would need to always access this app, even when she is not permitted to use any other app on her phone. This is an important lifeline for her. My question is, does Norton family allow for an app to be always accessible on a protected device, even if we are blocking her from accessing other apps on her phone? Dexcom needs to be always available. My daugher has Apple iOS and my phone is an Android. Thank you for your time answering my question.

Hi @peterserenyi,

Thanks for reaching out to Norton Family Forum.

It is not possible to allow certain apps during curfew hours.

When the child's iOS device is in the curfew period or when Instant Lock is initiated, Norton Family hides the apps that are installed from App Store including Norton Family and a few of the default apps. Once the curfew ends or when you unlock the device, the child gets back all the hidden installed apps along with the Norton Family app.

Thanks,
Norton Family team.
