I've been looking for an online backup solution and decided to try the trial version of Norton Online backup since we are already NIS users. When configuring the backup on the What tab, my two network drives (external hard drives on our home network) are listed, and I can click on them to "select" them. The only thing listed on the list online backup sources up once I do that is "user's folder". When the backup "runs", I see a variety of messages:"Backup completed successfully, 0 files, 0 bytes" or "Backup failed (A2235)" or "Backup failed (A2211)" or "Backup failed (out of storage space)"! I tried to select a folder on the network drive that was smaller than 5 GB, which I have since guessed is the limit on the trial.
Bottom line question - will Norton Online Backup back up data stored on external network drives?
