Hi everyone,

 

I need to download a programme called Runasdate.However,i am not too sure if it is completely safe as there has been reports that it is a virus(later on,the website owner claimed that it was a false possitive).I have norton internet security installed in my computer but i cannot take the risk to take a gamble as i am using my dad's work computer.

Is it the program from Nirsoft? If so, it's compeletely safe. There is no kind of malware in any Nirsoft programs.

Thanks for your reply =) So Norton does not detect Nirsoft programmes as viruses as well right?

Don't know, haven't tried, but if it does, it would be a reputation detection (based on too few users in the Norton Community to tell if it is safe or not), and a false positive. Guaranteed. Nirsoft products do not install any kind of malware.
