I need Help, I get several of these per day and I am wondering if something is trying to get into my computer.
Here's another one
This is a normal action by Norton Tamper Protection. One of the Microsoft system file (mainly in Windows 7) tried to access the Norton file and that access was logged by the Norton Tamper Protection. There is nothing to worry about this, and you are safe to go. This was discussed in the following thread:

Yogesh
I can confirm the statement presented by Yogesh.
I also get a few of these entries with Win7. Nothing to be concerned about.
Hello
It is just being logged and not BLOCKED showing that it got close to your Norton product. The same thing happens when I use Malwarebytes or SuperAntiSpyware even with xp pro. It's just tamper protection protecting the Norton product as Yogesh and Phil have said.
Thanks everybody for all the help I can rest easy now, I'll accept this as my solution. You have save a lot of hair pull'in.....
