Can the new purchase plan start after the existing plan reached the end with auto renew be terminated

I have the Norton 360 Standard (1 device) which will be ended by end April 2026. Now I would like to change it to Norton 360 Deluxe 3 devices after the existing ended.

If I terminate the auto renew for existing Norton 360 Standard now and purchase the new Norton 360 Deluxe 3 devices, Does the new Norton 360 Deluxe 3 devices start after existing Norton 360 Standard finished by end April 2026 or it will start immediately, i.e. loss 2 months subscription? As the web cannot schedule the starting time of the new plan.

If you purchase a new Norton 360 Deluxe subscription and activate it with a new product key, it will start immediately, and you will likely lose the remaining two months on your existing Norton 360 Standard plan. Norton typically treats new product keys as separate licenses rather than automatic extensions of an existing term.

To change your plan without losing those two months, you have two primary options:

  • Wait until your current plan is about to expire: Turn off auto-renewal for your Standard plan now to prevent an unwanted charge. Wait until 1–2 days before it ends in late April 2026 to purchase and activate the new Deluxe subscription.
  • Request a subscription merge: You can purchase the Deluxe plan now and immediately contact Norton Member Services & Support. A support agent can manually add the remaining days from your Standard subscription to your new Deluxe term so they “bridge” together.

From bjm options above I usually choose to buy a new plan from a local retailer and then enroll the plan just as my existing plan is about to expire.

Saves me money for sure and the time to get in touch with Norton support and have them combine the two. I also am the type that likes to do things myself rather than ask for help.

In any case both options work fine so fielder’s choice.

de laver meget om lige nu kan jeg se vpn er under hotfix husk næste big kommer snart som er 26.2 de motte jo droppe 26.1 som big på grund af fejl vil jeg tro så hvis i er sur over noget så vent med at være sur før 26.2 kommer da de kan lave meget om i den jeg har mine ideer men hvis i synes den er for lille med ting så har de nok flyttet det til den efter der er 26.3 da de flytter det til den hvis de laver det som en kode optimerings patch det gør de nogle gange men så er hele system lavet om de gjorde det med norton utilities 24.1 den var en major med ting men total optimering af alt i hele systemet
