I would like to ask you a little question.
I have a suscription to Norton 360 Deluxe with VPN & Genie Pro.
Is it possible to add a second person to the subscription obviously with another iOS GSM? I
Think read it somewhere but I don’t know where..
A thousand thanks to all of you
Domenico
P.S: Sorry for my English but I write through a translator.

Hello @Domenico
Are you referring to Norton – Genie – Scam Protection Pro ?
What specific Norton subscription plan ?
Norton 360 coverage is defined per device , not per individual user.
Norton Scam Protection Pro coverage is defined per device , not per individual user.
There is no separate “per user” license; if you have a 10-device plan, any combination of 10 compatible devices owned by you or your household can be covered.

Hello @Domenico
Are you referring to Norton – Genie – Scam Protection Pro ?
What specific Norton subscription plan ?
Scam Protection Pro is bundled as a premium feature within specific Norton subscription plans . You must subscribe to one of the following eligible suites to access the Pro features (Safe Call, Safe Email, and enhanced reimbursement):
Norton 360 with LifeLock (Select, Advantage, and Ultimate Plus tiers in the US)
Norton 360 Advanced (available globally)
Norton 360 Platinum (Australia and New Zealand only)
Norton Mobile Scam Defense (standalone mobile-focused plan)
Norton 360 Plus for Mobile (standalone mobile-focused plan)
While the basic Norton Genie app is free and standalone, it only offers manual scam checking. The automated, proactive protection of the Pro version requires one of the paid subscriptions listed above.
Norton Scam Protection Pro is strictly a premium feature bundled within specific Norton subscription plans (like Norton 360 with LifeLock, Norton 360 Advanced, or specific mobile plans) and cannot be purchased as a standalone product .
Norton Genie Scam Protection Pro and Norton Scam Protection Pro are the same product .
The naming can be slightly confusing because Norton uses the terms interchangeably depending on the context:
“Norton Genie Scam Protection Pro” : This name emphasizes the underlying Norton Genie AI technology that powers the features. It is often used in marketing materials and press releases to highlight the AI component.
“Norton Scam Protection Pro” : This is the standard feature name displayed directly within the Norton 360 application interface (e.g., in the dashboard or settings menu) and in support documentation.
Both terms refer to the premium tier of scam protection included in specific plans (like Norton 360 with LifeLock Select, Advantage, and Ultimate Plus , as well as Norton 360 Advanced globally) that adds Safe Call and Safe Email to the standard scam protection features.
Norton Genie Scam Protection Pro coverage is defined per device , not per individual user.
Scam Protection Pro is included in specific Norton 360 with LifeLock plans (Select, Advantage, and Ultimate Plus), which allow you to install the software on a set number of devices under a single subscription account:
Device Limits: Depending on the specific plan tier, you can protect 5 or 10 devices (PCs, Macs, smartphones, or tablets).
Usage: While the license is tied to the device count, multiple people (e.g., family members) can use the protected devices. However, the protection applies only to the specific devices where the Norton software is installed and active.
Platform Restrictions: Note that Scam Protection Pro features like Safe Call and Safe SMS are primarily available on Android devices. Deepfake Protection is currently supported on Windows, Mac, and Android, but not iOS.
There is no separate “per user” license; if you have a 10-device plan, any combination of 10 compatible devices owned by you or your household can be covered.
Setting up Norton Scam Protection and Scam Protection Pro features
Features of Norton Scam Protection and Scam Protection Pro
================================================
For the specific Scam Protection Pro features to work, the device must be running Android (for Safe Call/SMS) or be a supported platform for Deepfake Protection (Windows, Mac, Android). iOS devices receive basic scam protection but lack the full “Pro” call/SMS blocking capabilities.
Regardless of whether you have a plan that includes Scam Protection Pro (like Norton 360 with LifeLock or Norton 360 Advanced), iOS devices do not support the full “Pro” call-blocking capabilities .
Here is the specific breakdown for iOS vs. Android regarding Scam Protection Pro :
Safe Call (Call Blocking): This “Pro” feature, which automatically blocks or labels scam calls, is not supported on iOS due to Apple’s strict privacy restrictions on third-party call filtering. It is fully functional only on Android .
Note: Even if you have a Pro plan, enabling “Call Blocking & Identification” in iPhone settings will only provide basic carrier-level filtering, not the advanced AI-driven blocking found on Android.
Safe SMS (Text Blocking): iOS does support scam detection for text messages (filtering unknown senders), which is part of the standard and Pro protection.
Safe Email & Deepfake Protection: These “Pro” features are available on iOS , allowing you to scan emails and detect deepfakes in videos.
In summary, on an iPhone, you get the Pro benefits for Email, Web, and Deepfakes , but you do not get the advanced Safe Call blocking that defines the “Pro” experience on Android.
iPhone 14 Plus ~ Scam Protection Pro features:
Safe SMS (Text Blocking): YES, Fully Supported.
Your version fully supports AI-powered scanning of text messages (SMS/MMS) from unknown senders. You must ensure “Filter Unknown Senders” is enabled in your iPhone’s Settings > Messages .
Safe Call (Call Blocking): NO, Not Supported.
Despite having a “Pro” plan and the latest app version, Safe Call (automatic AI-driven blocking/labeling of scam calls) does not work on iOS .
Why? Apple’s iOS restrictions prevent third-party apps from actively blocking calls in the background. Even if you see “Norton 360” toggles in Settings > Phone > Call Blocking & Identification , they will not provide the active “Pro” blocking found on Android.
Deepfake Protection: NO, Not Supported.
Official Norton documentation explicitly states that Deepfake Protection in the Norton Genie assistant is not supported on iOS devices . This feature is currently limited to Android, Windows, and Mac .
Safe Email (Pro Feature): YES, Supported.
You can connect email accounts to the Norton app to proactively scan for phishing and scam emails.
Safe Web: YES, Supported.
Protects against scam websites while browsing in Safari or other browsers.
Summary for iPhone 14 Plus: You receive Pro benefits for SMS , Email , and Web , but you do NOT get Safe Call or Deepfake Protection . The “Pro” label on your iPhone primarily unlocks advanced AI scanning for texts and emails, not the full call-blocking or deepfake detection suite.
The “Version 26.6” referred to by the user is likely incorrect.
It is NOT the iOS version: The latest iOS version as of August 2026 is iOS 19 (or possibly iOS 20 beta). Apple has never released an “iOS 26.6”. The iPhone 14 Plus cannot run iOS 26.
It is likely a confusion with the Norton Version: The user probably meant to write the Norton app version again, which is 26.13.0… (where “26” is the major version year). They may have misread “26.13” as “26.6” or confused it with a different internal build number.
Correct OS Detail: The correct OS detail for an iPhone 14 Plus in August 2026 should be iOS 18.x or iOS 19.x .
How to clarify for the user: check actual iOS version by going to: Settings > General > About > iOS Version … likely see a number like 18.5 or 19.0, not 26.6.
Norton App Version: 26.13.0... is likely correct.
OS Version: 26.6 is likely incorrect. iPhone is likely running iOS 17 or 18, not 26.6.
Caveat: I’m not familiar with Norton Scam Protection/Pro – I’m not iOS
