Hi All
Just checking if there is anyway of cancelling a “report false positive”?
Went to a website and a popup stating the site is malicious and instead of closing the prompt, clicked the report button which must send off a report that this site has been falsely categorized. Checked and could not see anywhere to cancel that report.
Thanks
not as I’m aware
Care to share website domain name/address < space name to break link >?
Care to share why you’d want to cancel a report?
I think the website that came up in the prompt was “eztv - official . com” which was not the site I was trying to go to. I’m assuming that site has been categorized as blacklisted for a reason.
Can ads on websites from other sites cause the page to be blocked?
I would not worry about cancelling a report. Just reporting the site will not cause any restrictions to site access. The report will trigger Norton to check the site again, and if there is nothing wrong with the site, nothing will be changed.
Good to hear.
Didn’t want to accidently cause any issues for a site. Also good to know its just an automated service when clicking the report button and not wasting someone’s time to check the site.
Thanks

That looks like the one that I somehow clicked report as false positive.
At least it still has the same category. Thanks for confirming.
