Cannot access norton account!

To give everyone a update on this issue: I was sent a email from the Executive Consumers Relations Team on the 9/23. (Very Quick Response). I called them on the 9/25 to discuss the issue. They will start a investigation to the cause of this issue then get in contact with me with the results. Myself as of now I’m very well pleased at the quick response on this issue so far.  :smileyhappy:

The results of the investigation: Symantec does not know the reason why my account was switched to another email address, although the email address that it was switched to was a non existing email address. No one was in my account while the email address was changed. I believe Symantec can tell every time you enter into your account. I was assured that Symantec will be watching accounts to see if this happens again since this issue puzzled Symantec. I haven’t been checking my account often, but as of now I will be checking it weekly. Thank you Symantec for looking into this issue. :smileyhappy:

well I followed the link you gav me to this thread ( thanks ) and I can confirm that the exact same thing has happened to me - my email was changed to an email I have never heard of and I had to re-enter all my details to associate the product key back to my account - Norton need to get this sorted out as it's a bit of an ironic problem considering we are talking about security software

sounds to me that there has been a production error on product keys and they have duplicated some to different users.

What browser did you use? You could try and clear your cache
