Cannot access VPN

Why can I not access Norton VPN.

[Edit: Clarified subject]

@Vanman,

Well done and reported.

You basically changed your DNS settings at your ISP by allowing that website. You can also change your DNS settings within Windows to not use your ISP but rather some other DNS servers like Google or OpenDNS which may not be blocking that website.

I've had the same issue with three Windows 10 laptops in my house, all of which failed to connect to VPN and give the same error message as "Secure VPN has experienced a connection failure.  Please try again later".  I spent around an hour on the phone with Norton to no avail, then got referred to a level 2 Norton technician who sorted it within minutes.

The VPN required access to the website 'api.surfeasy.com/version' in order to function, but this was being blocked by my Internet Service Provider.  So I logged into my ISP account, added this as an allowable website and problem solved.

Message: "Connection Error: Secure VPN has experienced a connection failure. Please try again later."

I am using an ACER laptop with windows 10. Also using NORTON 360. When I try to load NORTON secure VPN  I get the message that Norton secure has experienced a connection failure. Try again later.

Tell us more about what device you are using and what version of Norton you are using. Include what are seeing and doing to access the VPN.
