I bought one of these new Hewlett Packard Mediasmart servers that stream your iTunes collection over your home LAN. This product has a built-in webserver name of http://hpstorage/ that you point your iTunes on your PCs to get your music.
Norton complains that this is an uncategorized website. But you cannot add the website either to get around this as Norton further complains it is an invalid website name?! The name cannot be changed, and it is simply "hpstorage" with no prefix or postfix.
I do not want to open up uncategorized internet websites just to get this intranet home LAN device allowed. Is there some other way? Why is Norton looking at the LAN anyway, it should only be looking at the WAN.
We are on the 1.2.2.2 client.
