Cannot change my registered email from a recently changed email address

Very soon won’t have access to my current email as changed email provider so plan on using a Gmail address that I have created years ago.

Need help extremely worried I will have no protection and wont be able to renew my subscription using current email that wont be valid and wiped by my existing provider.

I have tried within from account setting within my existing active Norton using current login details to no avail by editing the registered email verified to the new Gmail one that I use all the time, it returns

“An account already exists for this email address. Sign in or try a different email address”

Strange thing is cannot remember ever using that email with Norton in 15/20 years I have been subscribed

On the account with Gmail address (This should have nothing)

I can login using that Gmail account to a verified email, but cannot change there but shows no order history or device as expected but has active subscription. Has option to delete data not if I should.

The subscription licence if definitely different on both accounts

If you have determined that both email addresses are connected to a Norton Account for you, I can only suggest contacting Norton Support and seeing if they can somehow merge the two accounts.

If using the chat feature, when you can enter information enter “agent please” to get connected to a human.
