I'm using Ghost 15 on a Win 7 Pro 64 bit machine.
I keep my documents folder on an external usb drive. The My Documents link points to the root of the drive, not a particular folder on the drive.
When I try to include that drive in my computer backup, it is not listed. What I'm trying to do, and what I was able to do with earlier versions of Ghost and Save and Restore, is create a second job that will create a recovery point for the my documents drive.
I cannot even include the drive in a files and folders backup. When I add the root drive as a folder to the backup, the program automatically converts it to my documents.
Right now the files are being backed up as part of the fiels and folders backup but they are not available as a recovery point. I have to know what documents I want to recover. When I try to search for all files I get a message that there are too many files to list. I want to be able to clone that entire drive in the event of an emergency where the my documents drive is no longer available.
If this is not possible with Ghost, does anybody know of a program that will fit my needs?
TIA
Rob
