Norton 360 looks work ok but whenever I tried to fix something, it needs to connect to the Norton Server and failed.
The product is updated and live updates works ok. I removed Norton 360 using Norton Remove kit and re-installed it. I sent a message and called to Norton but still cannot solve this problem. I ran Norton Autofix. There is no issue but it says there is no internet. My internet is working perfectly.
Is this a known issue?
Have you restarted your computer since reinstalling Norton?
Have you manually run LiveUpdate and restarted until no more updates available? Be sure you use Restart and not Shutdown and Startup again.
Thanks for the suggestions. Of course I did run LiveUpdate and restart computer many times. Still doesn’t work.

Yes, both LiveUpdate and Quickscan work ok.
First it says “Communicating with Norton Server.” After a few minutes, it says “Cannot connect to Norton Server.” Next line says “Check your internet and try it again.”
When I click the Help button, it also says “No internet, Offline, Confirm Network setting.” But LiveUpdate works ok if I continue to click “Technical support” button.

I chatted with an agent. He re-installed the Norton software and said it’s working ok. But I still have the same problem.
Norton 360 v22.x or v24.x?
I don’t know how to check the version of the currently installed Norton but I used Norton downloader. So, I am pretty sure it’s the latest version. However, the agent also reinstalled it as well. The version is 22.23.10.10.
Please run Norton LiveUpdate a few times + restart (not Shut down) machine…repeat…we’re looking for v22.24.x.x

I think I did LiveUpdate more than 10 times and re-started more than 5 times.

What does Norton support say regarding “Cannot connect to Norton Server"?
I’m thinking you need to be 22.24.x.x
then why are you not 22.24.x.x
I re-installed version 22.24 with Norton remove and install tool. Had the same problem.
I chatted with the Norton agent again after that. The agent, again, re-installed Norton, ran the Smart scan, and restarted the computer several times. He could not solved the problem and said he would escalate this issue with his senior team. I got the same answer when I chatted a Norton agent a few weeks ago.
Norton shows me I have over 36 thousands issues but I cannot fix these issues because of this communication error. In this case, can I get refund since Norton is useless and cannot do anything for me?
