Cannot connect to Server

Hi,Cannot connect to norton server to register my 360, can anyone help.

Was able to log onto my norton account via web browser and activate and install newly purchased Norton 360 deluxe on on my computers. The programs are running without a problem, doing live updates and scans. The Norton Security pop up shows how many licenses have been used and I am able to do on demand live updates and scans. When I try to sign in via the Norton security pop up either through the new or the classic version it goes to the "communicating with the norton server" page then after a few moments it goes to the "cannot connect to the norton server, an unexpected browser error has occurred" message.

Not sure why this is happening since I am not trying to access the server via a browser but through the Norton program itself. Strangely enough I am able to sign onto my account via internet browser and manage my subscription from there.

Couldn't find a solution, has anyone had any success in remedying this problem? Thank you in advance.

Norton opens and shows that I have an active subscription but once it finishes communicating it throws an error code that says "An unexpected browser error has occurred." I have gone through all of the recommended fixes and nothing works. I have a custom built pc  specs:

Amd ryzen 7 2700X, asus b450F, RTX2060Super, !6gb ram with Win10 64. 

i can login to the website obviously but fsr i cant login into norton via the icon on the taskbar.....when i click on it the box appears, it says you are protected and i am, its all good but when i goto sign in it comes up with a msg saying "communicating with norton server" and then a blank screen, any ideas?

I have the issue that I can't connect to the Norton server after the installation of Norton 360 Deluxe and therefore, cannot activate it. I bought Norton 360 Deluxe today. Also it is registered in my account saying that 0 out of 5 licenses are in use.

The exact message I receive after installation is:

Cannot connect to the Norton server - An unexpected browser error has occurred.

I am on a Windows 10 machine, browser is chorme by default.

Please help.

yet again cannot connect to norton server from the from UI this seems a ongoing problem for norton when are they going to fix it

I've got the following error message during installation and every time when i click on "Sign In": "Cannot connect to the norton server"I've tried:

- Changing the default browser to edge

- Changing the default browser to chrome

- Uninstalling Firefox altogether

- Using the remove and reinstall tool to remove and reinstall Norton 360

- Using the remove and reinstall tool to remove the software, logging into my account, downloading another installer from there and reinstalling

- While reebooting the computer after every possible step

I haven't got any MSI software that could interfere.

Any other ideas?

I basically have 2 and maybe common problems with Norton.  The first is I have continually seen on the task bar that I have a message from Norton.  I click on it and it brings up the NortonLifeLock Security page.  When I click on the message it goes to the message page.  The problem is that it is a completely blank screen!!!!

The second and maybe related problem is when I try to sign in.  It works as though it's going to connect.  It doesn't and in fact almost never has.  I continually get the message - Cannot Connect to the Server!  I have gotten this same message since at least the spring of this year.

My profile is absolutely in correct.  I have been a user of Norton products for nearly 25 years!!!!  I'm about to my wits end with this guys and think about jumping ship when my subscription ends.  Norton is pretty expensive and seem to grow more and more such!
