Cannot Create Restore Point - Ghost 15.0.1

After some issues that a very capable support person helped me solve during installation, I am receiving an error that it cannot create a restore point. I am backing up to a 1TB external usb drive if that makes a difference. Any help would be appreciated...

 

Here is the error:

Error EC8F17B7: Cannot create recovery points for job: My Computer Backup.
    Error E7D1001F: Unable to write to file.
        Error EBAB03F1: The requested operation could not be completed due to a file system limitation. (UMI:V-281-3215-6071)

I have a couple questions and something for you to check.

 

What is the file system of the external drive?  Is it USB 3? 

 

I'd try the steps in the following document to try as a solution:
