Detailed description:
Clicking on a link to an embedded webpage fails with the report “[service] refused connection”. This does not happen if VPN is turned off.

It could be that the web pages you are trying to access are blocking access from known VPN IP addresses. They do this for copyright, legal or political reasons. No VPN provider should try to circumvent these protections.
