Cannot enable Game Optimizer

Cannot enable Game Optimizer

Detailed description:

Recently, I just installed Norton 360 for Gamers, but I found that:

  1. When I run games, it does not detect which games I have run.

  2. When I go to the settings page and click on the position indicated by the red arrow, there is no response at all, and I cannot enable it.

OS details: Windows 11 professional

Are you using a Windows admin user account or are you prompted for the admin password when you try to activate the Game Optimizer?

You might try a repair of your 360 installation. Click on Settings at the bottom left, and click on Troubleshooting tab. Then click on Repair Norton. Let that run, then restart your computer. Restart not Shutdown and startup again.

I am logged in using an administrator account. Also, when I try to enable the Optimizer, it does not ask me to enter an administrator password.

Furthermore, I followed your suggestion and tried to repair Norton. However, the repair process has been running continuously for about 2 hours with no response at all. Additionally, since I couldn’t start the Optimizer, I have already reinstalled Norton, but the problem remains the same.
