Cannot Enable Smart Firewall in Norton 360 Windows 7

Hi there,

 

As the subject eludes to, I cannot enable the Smart Firewall in Norton 360 (version 3.5.0.12) for Windows 7 (build 7100).  When I click on "Fix Now", the button turns blue momentarily, before returning to"At Risk".  When I manually enable the firewall through Settings -> Firewall, the firewall disables itself again as soon as I close the settings window.  Subsequent attempts to re-enable the firewall via both means have also failed.

Hi bharvey,

 

This was an issue that we had fixed in later Public Beta releases of Norton 360 3.5. Unfortunately, the Norton 360 3.5 Public Beta is no longer available as we're wraping up that project and plan to release as soon as we test with the final release of Windows 7. We should have the patch available sometime in August, depending on when Windows 7 RTM is available.
