Hello. I have one excluded app in the split tunnel and I need to removed it from the excluded list. When I click on "x" beside that app, nothing happens or it freezes first, then nothing happens. I need this fixed so I hope someone can help please.
Hi - thanks for the help. I'm trying to remove Outlook... long story, but since I had to re-install Norton 360 because it was failing to allow me to install software from a trusted vendor, the Split Tunnel exclusion for Outlook isn't working properly between my two user accounts (on the same device). So I thought I would remove the exclusion from both accounts and re-exclude them cleanly.
I use Windows 11 and disabled the Fast Startup, and I still still have the exact same problem. Nothing happens when I first try to remove Outlook from the list of excluded apps. (I'll get frustrated and) I click it repeatedly hoping something will happen, and then it greys-out, chugs and Windows asks me if I want to close Norton or wait for it to respond. I wait for it to respond and Outlook still sits in the excluded list. Any other thoughts?
What app are you trying to remove? I just tried deleting my Thunderbird email app from the split tunnel feature and it did just disappear when I clicked on the X.
Try restarting your computer to ensure your product is fully up to date. Be sure you are using the Restart command. Not Shutdown and startup again if you have Windows Fast Startup feature enabled. If you use Windows 8/8.1, 10 or 11, there can be an issue with the Windows Fast Startup feature.. See more information here.
