Cannot install latest version of norton family

 Hi Katie

I have downloaded the new version and followed the instructions on an HP laptop running windows 7:
https://onlinefamily.norton.com/familysafety/help.fs?action=installingNSM

I get through step 6 and click finish. However, the installation just ends here with no error message. There are no services running and I do not get prompted for my parent login. The  latest version that installs correctly for me is 2.6.0.43.

Please help me to install the newest version.

I deleted the files and directory and tried to re-install the product. However, it did not help. I still get the same behavior. The installation seems to complete, but there is no service running and I do not get prompted to register the computer.

Can you please let us know what security (antivirus) product(s) and version(s) you have on the PC?
