I just realized today that my one computer hadn't backed up in over a month (other one is still working fine). When I logged into my backup account, the computer is showing as offline even though it's online (it's the one I'm using at the time). I followed some links here and it recommended doing a reinstall of NOBU to fix that. Unfortunately, that created a new computer and did not link the old backups to the new computer (and no, I did not uninstall NOBU before doing the re-install).
This isn't that big of a deal by itself. I had enough storage space to run a backup of the "new" computer without deleting the old one. Now that has completed successfully, I'd like to get rid of the other one as it's taking up space and causing me to get low space warning messages. I initially tried a purge files (selected all files). I have no idea if a purge is running because nothing happens when I click Purge Now. No error, no "in progress", nothing. Might as well have clicked a blank area on the screen. I then tried to remove the computer. Same response to clicking the Remove Now button. Nothing!
If there is a purge running in the background, I can't tell (maybe the first attempt started something).
Any ideas?

Just tried it again. This time I got a message asking if I was sure about the purge (never saw that before), clicked okay. Then it said, sorry a backup or purge or restore is already in progress, please wait for it to finish. I can't see anything in progress so not sure which device has something in progress and how long it is going to take. Maybe a purge did start when I was trying the other day but it's now been over 48 hours and I'm trying to purge less than 2 GB of data. How long would that take?
PS. Is anyone from Symantec monitoring this forum? I don't have time to spend an hour or more online with chat so I'd prefer to send someone my email address so they can check behind the scenes and get back to me via PM.
Went online again today after being out of town for a week and didn't look like anything had happened with the purge attempt. However, I tried to remove the extra computer and that worked fine. Backup space did drop as well. It is still over where it should be though. It shows as 87% and my calculations have it at about 73%.
Do any mods ever check this board (other than to move posts)? Nobody has replied to this post since I started it in mid-December. I'd rather not go the chat route as that takes up a large amount of my time that I just don't have.
