Cannot Re-install on an Existing device Despite Having a Household License

I posted this on the Play Store:

This App Now Sucks V 3.86.1520I've had to re-install this app on a Samsung Galaxy following a problem. I've sent an email link from my account to the device but I can't get past the 'Free Trial or Buy Premium' screen despite having purchased a household license. As others have said, this app was great, now it sucks.

and had this reply

Hello Gary, Sorry for the trouble. Is it now a free/lite version? If so, go to Settings > Application Manager & use the clean data option for Norton Mobile Security. Then open the app, sign in, activate & register it with your Norton Account. If you need any further help, please create a post on the Norton Forums: http://norton.com/nms_support.

I've tried the solution from NortonMobile several times before making the post in addition to attempting a re-install from email and direct from my account.

Why is this impossible to do when I have paid for a license?

Hi j33p2006

Welcome to the Norton Community.  :smileywink:

Have you tried something which is to do a fresh install of Norton Mobile Security (NMS) then swipe thru and fill in with  your Norton Account details used for your paid licence  to register and activate the NMS app.

Then if it does not activate your paid licence and full version of NMS take the option of buy premium and see if the option of I Have Already Bought this Product is still available or not.

If it is tap it and it should check the servers to see if your Norton Account has an available or spare licence for the Premium paid full version of NMS.

The above steps are based on earlier versions of NMS and hopefully they still work.

Keep us posted and let us know how you go.

Cheers. :smileywink:
