Cannot recover disk space used by deleted N360 local backup

All

I have deleted a N360_BACKUP folder, firstly by disabling "Norton Tamper Protection" and then going to a DOS prompt and changing the attributes using the old attrib command and +r+a+s+h.  I have got rid of the backup folder, but i can't recover the disk space that was being used by it, it's in the region of 100gb.

Anyone any ideas or utilities.

Thank you in advance.

Simon

Either you made a mistake listing the attribute commands here or you made the folder read-only, system, hidden, and set the archive bits.

The correct command would have had - signs instead of + signs.

But I think it would have been eaiser to go through the Norton Backup Drive in My Computer to delete all the backup sets.

Thanks to Dave.  I'd got my attributes the wrong way round..  Problem now fixed.
