Cannot renew/upgrade NIS 2013

I have been getting notifications for a week that my NIS 2013 would expire due to invalid credit card information. I updated the card info and got a success message, but continued to receive the same warning despite verifying my card info repeatedly. The warning emails show my old card info, so apparently instead of accepting the new card, it insists on trying to run the old card. I have tried this many times in 3 different browsers and 2 user accounts. This morning, I received my "final notice" about the wrong card not working. The problem is clearly on Norton's end.

But then I thought, why don't I just go ahead and upgrade to 360? Tried to do that, repeatedly, in different browsers etc., but once I enter all the info and click the submit button, my card number is erased and I get a message that it canot contain spaces or dashes.

Have contacted support several times for this, and this morning, most recently spoke to a "supervisor" who could only offer to perform the renewal or upgrade on his end, which still wouldn't solve my problem for the next renewal period. So he told me to try again in 24 hours.

Meanwhile, I now have an email telling me that my auto-renewal has been cancelled, and I'm still unable to go online and manually renew the product or purchase an upgrade. I get the same result when I attempt to renew from within the Norton app itself. All I can think of is that somehow that "supervisor" managed to flip some sort of switch that I can no longer flip back (and he wondered why I wanted to do it myself)!

So I guess I have 9 days to either resolve this or move to a different product, and let my computer students know what happened so they don't find themselves in the same situation. Is there any way to break through the outsourced support ceiling and talk to an actual Norton agent?

(Thanks for reading this long post, BTW.)
