Cannot schedule updates

Hi,

 

I'm running NAV 11.0.2 (35) on Mac OS 10.4.11 (Intel). I cannot add scheduled scans or updates - attempting to create one via the Symantec Scheduler gives the error "Can not edit or add Symantec scheduled task because the process Symantec Scheduler.app (pid 390) is editting a task."; attempting via the NAV interface gives "Can not edit or add Symantec scheduled task because the process Norton AntiVirus.app (pid 393) is editting a task."

 

I have reinstalled the application to no effect. The Symantec removal tool wouldn't work either - I had to manually remove files.

 

Any suggestions?
