Cannot see home network after installing Security Suite

Yesterday, I ran the official removal tool on Norton 2003, and installed the Security Suite via Comcast. I did this on 2 of the three home computers here, networked via a Belkin Wireless router (all XP SP 3). On this machine (the main one, with the shared printer hooked up to it), I uninstalled the ZoneAlarm firewall as well.

Now, none of our computers can see each other, and the other two can't see the printer (everything was working smoothly before). Searching on this I see (from 2008):

"You should set your network trust level to "Shared" or "Full Trust". ... Goto the options page, under firewall, there will be a section titled "Trust Control".  You should see your active networks in the list, and you can set the trust level accordingly."

But I don't see that option in my Security Suite firewall settings. I've tried adjusting the Traffic Rules, and turned off the Automatic File/Printer Sharing Control, and tried re-setting up the network, etc., etc., but nothing has made a difference.

Do I need to turn off the Norton Firewall and go back to Windows' Firewall?

Thanks!

HI VeganAZ

You need to go to Network Security Map (if that exists in Comcast Suite) and you can change to Full Trust in there.

Badda-boo, badda-bing!

I was looking all over the firewall area, and hadn't seen the network part under general settings.

You rock, mdturner!

Just sometimes VeganAZ - thanks for the boost to my ego though:smileyvery-happy:

Glad you got it running though - I assume you can now see the home network?
