Cannot seem to switch out of Classic view to My Norton

Hello,

My Norton 360 has switched to what I understand is the Classic view, which does not allow me to see if my Norton Secure VPN is connected etc. Looks like the product has just updated and following this I dont seem to be able to switch to My Norton view.

Looking at other posts on Classic I should see a My Norton field on Classic view, all I see if a tab marked 'More  Norton'.  This allows access to 'Password Manager' 'Add Devices', 'Family' and 'Settings' Clicking on the latter does not seem to open anything.

Can anyone help me to return to the My Norton view please?

Thank you

~ recall user with Norton 360 for Gamers had to refresh their Norton install to return their Launch View.

When I installed "Norton 360 for gamers", I had the default launch view "My Norton".

I made the mistake and changed it to "classic view".

Now, I can't change it back to "My Norton" again. I can't find it anywhere from the settings.

I will just reinstall it now, after this message. So the matter is no longer "relevant". I will remember not to switch the view anymore, so hopefully there won't be problems anymore.

Thank you for trying to help me with this, much appreciated.  :)

EDIT: Reinstalled and all is well. Now I also have the option to open "My Norton" on my taskbar menu.  [source here]

As requested, here is how my tray button looks after reinstall:  [source here]

How to get "My Norton" launch view back

I am in the same situation. "Launch View" does not come up in my settings and a simple restart hasn't worked.

Any advice?

Hello. If your product updated via live updates a simple restart may correct the issue. As Ranjan313 posted follow their instructions.

Open Settings:

Click on Launch View and then select My Norton.

Try right clicking on the Norton icon in the system tray. Look for and click on Open My Norton.

If you do not see that, did you recently reinstall your 360? If so, did you use an older installer you found on your computer?

It sounds like you need a reinstall to get the latest product on your system again. Log into your Norton Account and click on Download button. Follow the instructions to 'install on this device'. That will take care of removing the older product, if necessary, and installing the latest product to your computer. Then be sure you run LiveUpdate manually a few times, restarting as necessary, until no updates are available? Then restart again. Restarting, not shutdown and startup again if you have Windows Fast Startup feature enabled.   If you use Windows 8/8.1 or 10 or 11, there can be an issue with the Windows Fast Startup feature..
