I have managed to register myself and my children using the website. Whenever I try to provide my credentials when installing the Norton Safety Minder software on the PC the program freezes. The window title changes to “Norton Saftey Minder (not responding” and clicking on the window causes an additional dialog showing a message saying “Symantec Server Framework is not responding” , offering me the option to close the program or to wait for it to respond (which it never does). Task manager shows a process called ccSvcHst.exe using c. 50% of the CPU time (i.e. 100% of one CPU). At this point a reboot is necessary to prevent the process from running as the “Close the program” option above does not work. Can you please help me resolve this problem.
