I bought NIS about a month ago and there have been so many problems with it. At the moment the icon which takes you to scans/live updates etc is missing (so I can't actually access Norton), Identity Safe pop up windows slow the internet connection (I use Chrome) and something is making all other software behave erratically.
In some other posts there have been suggestions I reinstall NIS. However, I cannot uninstall the NIS in the first place. I've tried uninstalling via Control Panel > Programs and the screen just tells me that Norton is preparing to uninstall and nothing actually happens (I've waiting for over 2h for something to happen - to no avail). I then downloaded the Norton Removal tool, but that doesn't do anything either.
Any ideas how I can uninstall NIS? I would be truly truly grateful for advice!
