Can't access network printer

Prevoiusly I was able to access a printer and file systems located on my win7 computer from my main win8 PC.   I changed network providers and now I have finally gotten to the file systems on the win7 machines my adding my win8 machine into the trusted area of NIS, but still can't get to the printer on that machine from win8.  Yes, printer is shared.  Any help is appreciated.  If I disable the firewall then I can get to the printer.

Each machine has to be set to accept or reject connections within your local network.
