Can't add a computer or see/use restore button

My lap top failed completely, and I have a new one. I backed up all my data the day before the catastrophic failure. I need to "restore" (or otherwise transfer) my backed up data to the new computer.

 

I have Norton Backup as part of Norton 360 Premier Edition. I have registered the new computer with Norton by entering the key from my on line account. Downloads seem ok - I've had confirmation that I'm covered on the new computer for the remainder of my subscription.

 

When I am on the Backup Home page I'm given a number of options, but not one to add a computer which is what the online help suggests I should do:

When I go to the page with the icon of a computer and a drop down "File Actions" menu, I don't get a restore option on the drop down - just e-mail files & download files. The online help refers to a restore button:

I only used the Backup to safeguard against this type of failure, and now I can't do the backup that I need. Help!

It just got worse! I tried to access a couple of individual backed up files, which I need in th e short term, and I can't even do that - so if anyone can help me to do that, I'd be almost pathetically grateful.
