Can't add a computer

I am trying to add a new computer to my existing account, and get the following error message after downloading the software and going through the installation process.  At the end of the process it asks you into you account.  I get the following error when I do this: 

Authentication Failed.  Verify your email address, password, and internet connection, and then try again

 

I confirmed that my passord is typed in properly and my email account is correct and I can access the internet.

I am able to login to the norton family portal to monitor, configure etc. 

I also get a different error message if I use the wrong password during the final installation process, that error is

Error: Parent Email or password is incorrect.

 

Here is some more information.  I already have installed Norton Security Suite, version 20.0.2.19. 

This is the version that Comcast cable provides with all live updates applied. 

I also followed your steps to make sure it is the latest version going to http://updatecenter.norton.com and that told me I had no Norton products installed.

 

 

I still cannot add a new computer.

Please log onto your NF account from https://onlinefamily.norton.com/familysafety/loginStart.fs (not from within Norton Security Suite) then try to add another computer to see if it helps (if that's not what you have done).

That is how it was originally installed, from the norton website.

Well, it just started working.  I didn't do anything and it just started working.
