Can't backup

Norton 360 - I cannot run a backup to the C:(OS) or online server, error code 8702, 32 - i have completely uninstalled and reinstalled 2x, 'chatted' with Anurag and Kunal, both of whom did the same things - rebooting, updating,etc -  and ended up saying that the problem is fixed, but it is not. code 8702, 32 means that the online server is not responding - this has been going on for 2 weeks. Suggestions?

Are you sure the external drive is connected to the computer and has a drive letter assigned. Then check that that is the same drive letter that Norton is expecting to find for the backup destination.

Is there any more information about why the backup fails? Look in your Norton History and from the drop down list at the top, scroll down to Backup. Then double click on a failed backup and look through the information to see if you can see what is happening.
